HOW WERE YOU FIRST INTRODUCED TO THIS  TYPE OF WORK/ARTISTIC PRACTICE - AND WHAT  DID YOU ENJOY ABOUT YOUR EARLY  EXPLORATION OF IT?

First at Secondary School, and then Art School and on through Training College and in turn Art Teaching. I did enjoy it of course, but it's compulsive, and it becomes a way of life.

HOW HAS YOUR WORK/ARTISTIC PRACTICE CHANGED AND DEVELOPED OVER THE YEARS? WHAT FACTORS DO YOU THINK AFFECTED THIS?

In some ways I have become less professional and more driven to create gallery work, whereas in the beginning it was Production Pottery (Planters and Domestic Ware etc.)

West Auckland.  In Huia, in the bush, in a shed. It used to be Production Pottery, now it's more Shed Pottery - Ceramic Work.
